Channel mounting type terminal blocks by EMM Inc., are available in eight different
styles‹six styles in the 600 volt series and two in the 300 volt series.
All EMM blocks can be mounted in any combination on the same mounting channel.
This allows the user to mix styles as required, thereby reducing valuable panel
space requirements. Any individual block can be easily attached or removed
without disturbing adjacent blocks.
Current ratings specified on data sheet are based on heat rise tests conducted
at 25°C ambient using the maximum rated wire size.
Circuit identification is easy because all EMM blocks have
a painted top surface. Pen, pencil, or ink stamp may be
employed; no special ink is required.
All EMM terminal block assemblies require an end barrier to
close off the last terminal. If an assembly is made up of 600 volt
and 300 volt blocks, an end barrier is required at each juncture
of the two styles. Each assembly requires two retaining clips
or end anchors.
All terminal blocks and hardware are packaged in convenient standard quantities.
Blocks may also be purchased in time-saving three foot or six foot assemblies. The
number of terminals on each assembly varies with the type of EMM block ordered.
