This was a case where, "Careful what you wish for," came true. Rather, a case of what you offer as a design choice. Galco offers a wide selection of electronic components. A couple juicy design comps had already been mocked up and would have been easy to produce, when, maybe for just one more selection... or perhaps, just something to play with--and that's the one that gets chosen! The other designs were more conceptual and sexier--electrical sparks flinginig from around back... or a power surge wrapping under the logo. But one more layout was provided, as just another alternative, but one that evidently showed more product! The problem was budget. A price had been estimated and to shoot photography to match the comp would have the blown budget. Gnotek Studio sucked it up and created the stone looking pedestals, floor and wall with KPT Bryce, a landscape program, then placed the products in position. Reflections and shadows were added for realism and the client was quite happy. But... those electrical sparks flinging around the corner were definitely more dynamic (and, could have probably sold had not...).
