BASF Automotive Refinish has announced the launch of the Glasurit Passport Training Program, a comprehensive new training initiative that allows Glasurit users and distributors to prepare themselves to excel and thrive in the challenging years ahead.
The Passport Program offers a structured, multi-course curriculum geared toward a complete refinish education. Enrollees receive an actual Passport booklet, which is stamped each time a course is completed; the fully stamped booklet can be redeemed for a travel incentive award.
At Regional Training Centers across North America, professional full-time trainers take Glasurit customers to new levels of expertise, resulting in:
.....
Greater productivity.
.....
Enhanced skills and problem-solving ability.
.....
Proper, efficient usage of refinish materials.
.....
Fewer re-dos and comebacks.
Who is this program designed for?
Any automotive refinisher who uses (or desires to use) the Glasurit system approach in the repair of vehicles, and any BASF Distributor wishing to increase their awareness of the Glasurit product line.
What will the Glasurit Passport
Training Program do for you?
This program is designed to address the challenges of the industry by increasing the awareness of technicians and distributors in the correct application and usage of Glasurit products. It will ensure that the participants remain current in proper repair procedures for increased productivity and customer satisfaction. The program will increase the participant's exposure to the industry and awareness of body shop operations. Successful completion of this program will qualify the candidate as a Master Certified Glasurit Technician.
Why is BASF introducing this program?
BASF Corporation recognizes that many technicians are dedicated to improving the level of service that they provide to their customers. BASF is introducing this program to reward those professional Glasurit technicians and distributors dedicated to their continuous personal development and to improving paint processes and body shop operations.
How does this program differ from
what BASF currently offers?
This program encompasses current BASF training programs, in a structured multi-course system geared toward a complete education. All of the programs are competency and performance based; therefore, the participant must demonstrate that they can perform all operations associated with the proper preparation and application of products in the Glasurit Refinish System.
Successful completion of each phase of the Glasurit Passport Training Program requires passing a written examination of each module and a visual performance examination.
A program this comprehensive is a first not only for BASF, but for the refinish industry.
