On this show we brought awareness to the 4th Annual Rock4Tots benefitting the Clinton Township Goodfellows. "No Child Without A Christmas."
Show 9 - November 22, 2011 - A Chizzy CAM CommuniD BBQ
This evening was planned to be a CommuniD BBQ at Chizzy CAM for all the hungry neighbors in Harmonie Park and downtown Detroit. However the one thing that cancels a CommuniD BBQ happenedpouring rain. However we did get informed about two great movements going on in the city: Elevate Detroit with their CommuniD BBQs and Brother Al's Canticle Cafe. Both very worrthy charities to check out and support.

On this night we raised awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness and we gather funds to help White Shag front Laura Mendoza's mother's breast cancer treatments. Want to help? This show and party benefits Soles4Souls which distributes shoes to children and adults in need. We are collecting new and used shoes at uDetroit Cafe through Christmas to distribute through Soles4Souls.
Show 4 - October 18, 2011 - Tourette's Syndrome
This show was to bring awareness of Tourette Syndrome and raise funds for The Tourette Syndrome Association of Michigan. Chizzy live painted the clothing on punk rocker/fashion diva Karen Neal and we auctioned the clothing off to the live audience.

Show 3 - October 11, 2011 - Vietnam Veterans
This was A Voice On The Streets awareness raising show for issues real and perceived by Vietnam Vets. This show supports Piquette Square, a new 150-unit apartment project in Detroit, on the grounds of the former historic Studebaker Factory, to house and care for homeless veterans. Piquette Square offers comprehensive support services to help the veterans develop self-sufficiency and reintegrate into the community.

Show 2 - October 4, 2011 - 4th-Stage Non-Hodgkins T-cell Lymphoma
This show was to the benefit of a 7-year old girl Ava with 4th-stage non-Hodgkins T-cell lymphoma. Chizzy live painted the clothing on fashion model Gwen Joy and we auctioned the clothing off to the live audience. We collected $200 between the auction and sale of ribbons. Motor City Special, another live show at uDetroit Cafe is matching contributions for a total of $400.
You can still make donations to this beautiful child by check to Chizzy CAM, noted "lymphoma." All proceeds go directly to Ava's medical expenses.
