The Next Generation of Automotive Finishes

For decades, Glasurit has been synonymous with world-class technological innovation in refinish systems. From Europe to North America to points around the globe. Glasurit sets the standard for superior performance and satisfaction.

Now, the internationally prominent 54 Line basecoat system and 21 Line single-stage system are joined by the next generation of automotive finishes: 55 Line and 22 Line: the next logical step in the evolution of the Glasurit product line.

55 Line
Basecoat/Clearcoat

Increased productivity - through technological advancement - is the key to the importance of the new 55 Line polyester basecoat system.

Enhancements in chemical design have allowed 55 Line to achieve new levels of productivity, most prominently in three areas:

Faster drying, cutting painting time by approximately 18% more effective hiding, providing two-coat hiding capability with superb color match. Less paint consumption, from improved coverage, hiding, and sprayability.

Features including new modern pigments and improved hold-out adds to the system's value, while 3.5 and 4.0 lbs/gal VOC formulations provide low-VOC options with no drop-off in performance.

Overall, 55 Line gives you the opportunity for major improvements in productivity and profitability, combining increased speed with lower cost through a decrease in the amount of material required.

22 Line
Single Stage

A high-solids, low-VOC acrylic urethane single-stage system, new 22 Line also provides major productivity improvements through technoligical advancement.

Key advantages of the 22 Line single-stage system include:

Two-coat coverage, reducing material usage with quicker hiding than competitors. Faster drying, cutting painting time and improving productivity. Superb sprayability, with a significant improvement over previous systems- Less paint consumption, reducing material costs with two-coat coverage.

22 Line also features new modern pigments and improved hold-out, and is compliant for 3.5 and 4.0 lbs/gal VOC requirements. 22 Line uses existing 21 Line hardeners, reducers, and support products, allowing further efficiency and ease of startup.

90 Line
Waterborne

Glasurit's standard for technological excellence is upheld in the waterborne arena by the 90 Line waterborne basecoat system. Glasurit 90 Line provides not only VOC compliance, but outstanding performance and productivity advantages as well:

Extremely low VOCs, increasingly important in today's refinish industry. Speed, with 0-5 minutes between wet-on-wet basecoats and 15 minutes drying at 140oF before the clear is sprayed Ease of use, with no special mixing or spraying equipment required.

90 Line provides these advantages with no compromise in the superb color match, gloss, and durability expected from a Glasurit finish.

All Glasurit products are designed to meet VOC regulations.

As the collision repair field becomes more sophisticated, those who position themselves for the future will thrive - and Glasurit is leading the way.
